PR1MA @ A’Famosa Expected to Complete By 2019
ALOR GAJAH, MELAKA, 15 MARCH 2018: Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) is optimistic that its PR1MA @ A’Famosa would serve as a boon for middle-income (M40) property buyers in owning quality homes in the state’s prime location.
PR1MA @ A’Famosa is one of PR1MA’s pioneering development in Alor Gajah, comprising 280 units of double-storey terrace house and 475 units of apartments, with an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of more than RM188 million.
The project, which is open for sale since December 2017, had been well received by property buyers. In fact, its double-storey terrace houses have been fully taken up while its apartment units are all selling fast.
The price of residential units at this new development starts from RM168,000 per unit, which is at least 20 per cent lower than market homes sold within the area.
With its prime location adjacent to the A’Famosa Golf Resort and within proximity to Tampin town centre, PR1MA @ A’Famosa development will further boost Alor Gajah’s socio-economic growth.
The development will also meet the increasing demand for comfortable and quality homes by the locals especially those from the M40 group.
“Looking at the robust economic activities taking place in the state, it is clear that Melaka is set in transforming itself into becoming a cosmopolitan city. This, in turn, drives greater demand for homes particularly those of quality and in strategic locations,” said Dato' Abdul Mutalib bin Alias, Chief Executive Officer of PR1MA.
“PR1MA is committed to work alongside Melaka in developing fairly-priced quality homes to cater to the growing needs of middle-income Malaysians,” he added.
As with all PR1MA projects, PR1MA @ A’Famosa homes are designed to focus on space, practical designs as well as quality finishing while maintaining a competitive and reasonable price point.
These homes come with lifestyle and community features catered to the M40 group, including a surau, kindergarten, multi-purpose hall and badminton courts.
PR1MA, to date, also has two more landed property projects in Alor Gajah area – PR1MA @ Alor Gajah (1,160 units) and PR1MA @ Pulau Sebang (1,058 units), with starting price of RM211,000 and RM196,000 respectively.
PR1MA @ Alor Gajah, which is a town-house cluster development, is now open for application, while PR1MA @ Pulau Sebang project, single and double storey terrace house development, has completed its balloting process.
Earlier today, Datuk Seri Utama Ir. Haji Idris bin Hj. Haron, Chief Minister of Melaka visited the construction sitein conjunction with Ekspo Jualan Perumahan – Ke Arah Sejuta Impian Alami Gaya Hidup Sejahtera – Edisi Melaka,which is being held from the 12th to the 16th April at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC).
PR1MA @ A’Famosa is one of the developments that is being showcased during the five-day event. This nationwide home expo is jointly organised by PR1MA; the Melaka Housing Board; Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB); and 1Malaysia Housing Projects for Civil Servants (PPA1M).
More than 27,000 residential units at various price points are showcased at the Ekspo Sejuta Impian (Edisi Melaka) to cater to Malaysians from all income levels, especially for the lower (B40) and M40 groups. Over 24,700 units, or approximately 90% of these homes are priced below RM300,000.
Among the residential projects available, more than 20,000 PR1MA units are situated at key locations such as Klebang, Melaka Tengah, Ayer Panas and Durian Tunggal.
