KANGAR, PERLIS, 27 APRIL 2018: The rakyat in Perlis, particularly the middle-income (M40) group, will now have the opportunity to own their home through the PR1MA Open Day (POD). The event was organised by Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) which is held from today until 29th April at Dewan Wawasan 2020, Perlis.
During the three-day POD, four out of six PR1MA projects in the state will be showcased, including projects at strategic locations such as Kuala Perlis, Jejawi 2, Kubang Gajah and Padang Siding. Covering both apartment units and terrace houses, prices start from RM190,000.
“In line with the Government’s aim to increase home ownership amongst the rakyat, PR1MA is committed to deliver quality homes to ensure that the M40 group is not left out. In Perlis alone, there are 3,500 PR1MA Homes approved for development, thus creating more opportunities for the M40 there to own a quality home,” said Dato' Abdul Mutalib bin Alias.
“In fact, out of the 3,500 units approved by PR1MA Members of Corporation (MOC), 2,500 units are already under various stages of construction,” he added.
Held throughout the nation, PR1MA POD serves as a platform to engage with homebuyers, where they are educated on the process of registering and applying for a PR1MA home. Representatives from financial institutions and relevant agencies are also present at the POD to assist prospective buyers in the homeownership journey.
As of 31 March 2018, the PR1MA Members of Corporation (MOC) has approved a total of 268,537 units PR1MA homes nationwide, out of which 138,734 units are under various stages of construction. To-date PR1MA has more than 1.5 million registrants, out of which more than 8,000 are located in Perlis.
“Beyond building quality market homes, PR1MA projects aim to be the foundation for strong, integrated and harmonious communities that can grow into townships that are socially, environmentally and economically sustainable. We encourage all Malaysians, especially the M40 group, to join us at PR1MA POD @ Perlis, and to take this opportunity to start their journey towards homeownership,” said Dato' Abdul Mutalib bin Alias.
PR1MA townships are built with the modern M40 Malaysian in mind, especially young families. All PR1MA projects are equipped with offerings and amenities to suit the M40 lifestyle, with features that may include a surau, community hall, swimming pool, and a gated-and-guarded concept.
