PR1MA Continues To Offer Incentives And Discounts Throughout Nationwide Campaign Period
KUALA LUMPUR, 22 MARCH 2019– A total of 4,795 units of Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) homes with a sales value of RM1.24 billion have been snapped within three weeks (1 - 21 March), through the Home Ownership Campaign 2019 (HOC 2019).
This strong demand is due tothe incentives and special discounts offered during the campaign period, which made it possible for many aspiring home buyers to afford a property for the first time.
Acting Chief Executive Officer Mohd Nazri Md Shariff said PR1MA will continue to provide discounts and incentives, so that more rakyat will be able to afford PR1MA homes which are located at strategic locations within urban and sub-urban areas.
“Based on the overwhelming response we received, we are committed to continue with the special packages offered during HOC 2019. We hope aspiring home buyers will grab this chance to secure their ideal home as both the Government and PR1MA are giving such good incentives to encourage home ownership among the rakyat,” he said.
To accommodate more aspiring home owners from all over the country, PR1MA will continue to extend its support at the HOC expos in Melaka, Kelantan and Terengganu. The nationwide campaign, which runs for 6-month beginning January 2019 to June 2019, is held to invigorate the property market and to increase home ownership amongst the Rakyat.During the campaign period, PR1MA is offering up to 30% discount and rebate to support the Government’s efforts in this initiative.
The HOC 2019 expo had kickstart early this month at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and will be making its round nationwide in other states. In the current HOC 2019 expo in Melaka, which is taking place between 19 - 24 March 2019 at AEON Bandaraya Melaka, more than 4,822 residential units will be open for sale. The HOC expo will also be making its way to Kelantan from 28 - 30 March 2019 at KB Mall and Terengganu from 29 - 31 March 2019 at Mesra Mall, Kemaman.
The HOC 2019 expo, which also acts as aone-stop centre to assist potential buyers in their home ownership journey, was initiated by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) as part of the Government’s commitment under the National Housing Agenda. It is organized by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT) in partnership with the Real Estate and Housing Developer’s Association (REHDA).
During the campaign period, PR1MA will showcase all its existing and future projects located in strategic locations all over the country. Covering both apartment units and terrace houses, a PR1MA home is priced between RM100,000 and RM400,000 per unit, before discount.
