PR1MA Collaborates with Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNP) Through Exchange of MoU
Bukit Merah, May 8, 2014 - In fulfilling its mandate and commitment to provide more affordable housing in the country especially in major cities nationwide, Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) today exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNP).
The exchange of the MoU is to enter into a formal collaboration with PKNP to identify available strategic land in the state for the development of PR1MA homes. The collaboration will see PR1MA working with the State government through PKNP to develop PR1MA homes in Perak in line with its planning and requirements, which is similar to the working model of PR1MA's strategic partnership with Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Kedah (PKNK) which was formalised on 24 January 2014.
The Members of Corporation of PR1MA has to-date approved five developments in Perak with state and private developers. These are in Slim River, Pengkalan Aor, Sungai Pari, Kampung Paloh and Bandar Meru Raya. The five projects will foresee the delivery of 3,220 homes in a total area of 80.32 acres that are strategically located within the vicinity of infrastructures and amenities.
This advancement is the first of more developments to come through PR1MA's collaboration with the State. PR1MA has also included in its plan to build a recreational field, a surau and a communal hall, providing a holistic and comprehensive living environment for the middle income earners.
