Dato’ Sri Ab Rahim bin Ab Rahman was appointed as a Member of PR1MA Corporation Malaysia (MOC) on 13 January 2026.

He currently serves as the Deputy Secretary General of the Treasury (Management) at the Ministry of Finance. A senior Administrative and Diplomatic Officer with over 30 years of experience in the public service, he possesses extensive expertise in development planning, public financial management, and national economic strategy.

Throughout his career, Dato’ Sri Ab Rahim has served across various state agencies, statutory bodies, and federal institutions. At the Ministry of Finance, he has held several key positions, including Director of the National Budget, Secretary of the Government Procurement Division, and Deputy Secretary of the Operations Sector Office, Remuneration Policy and Management Division.

Dato’ Sri Ab Rahim holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Universiti Malaya, a Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration, and a Master of Science in Information Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA.
