YBrs. Encik Syed Zulkifli Bin Syed Ismail was appointed as the Group Chief Operating Officer of PR1MA Corporation Malaysia on 1 July 2026. He brings over 19 years of leadership experience across government-linked companies, public listed entities, and the private sector, with expertise in strategic planning, large-scale land development, infrastructure projects, corporate transformation, and operational management.

Prior to joining PR1MA, he served as the Director of Corporate Planning at Bandar Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., where he spearheaded the Bandar Malaysia Economic Zone Business and commercialisation strategy. He also played a key role in strategic investor engagement, manpower planning and talent development initiatives to support the organisation’s long-term growth objectives.

Previously, as Chief Business Officer and Chief Operation Officer at MRANTI Corporation,  he led operational turnaround initiatives, drove major development programmes, and enhanced organisational efficiency through strategic operational improvements. Earlier, as Group Chief Strategy Officer at Damansara Realty Berhad, he played an instrumental role in strategic transformation initiatives, township development projects, investor relations, and financial recovery efforts.

Encik Syed Zulkifli began his career at Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, where he held various strategic and operational roles involving airport planning, infrastructure development, transformation management, and feasibility studies for airports development and upgrading projects, including the KLIA2 and Istanbul Sabiha Gocken International Airport in Turkeye.

Encik Syed Zulkifli holds a Master of Business Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA  and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Hons) from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. He holds the Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst certification from the Corporate Finance Institute, member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia and the Project Management Institute.
